Role outline
The key role of the renewals executive will be to renew our current subscriber base working on MSM Publications & 3 Central Banking Journals, ensuring that renewals are confirmed and payment has been received, ideally before their renewal date within targeted periods. The role will entail working closely with the marketing team in order to achieve the targets set for individual products as well as supplying verbal & written periodical reports as required. Close liaison with the Customer Service teams in both London and the New York offices will be necessary. Attending industry events and visiting clients will also be expected from time to time. The overall objective will be to ensure that the correct number of lapsing customers are being identified (compared with Renewal Report 71) and to identify and rectify any anomalies.
Candidates should be educated ideally to degree level, with customer service or similar sales experience. Experience in telesales, telemarketing or account management/business development experience is an advantage. A basic knowledge of the financial markets, dealing with senior professionals or a good understanding of online products would also be an advantage but not essential.
