Accountancy Age revamped to offer deeper insight into financial news
- 6 Sep 2009
LONDON - Incisive Media’s Accountancy Age is published this week refreshed and updated to serve the changing needs of its readers.
The weekly publication for the UK’s accountancy profession has been remodelled to deliver more analysis in a bolder format.
Editor Gavin Hinks said: “Reader habits are changing. Up to the minute news is already available online and readers like receiving it that way. Our aim in print is to add value by providing more analysis, more depth and greater context. The new look should also deliver more hard facts as well entertain our readers.”
Accountancy Age now has a more integrated approach to its structure with elements such as comment, blogs and profiles being brought forward as part of the news section to provide a better page-turning experience. New typefaces have been selected to improve readability.
The print publication will continue to highlight the unique content available online, emphasising that the two media work together as complementary services
The features section of the print weekly has also been restructured and redesigned to allow for a smoother transition as readers move through the publication.
“This is a modern publication for modern accountants who demand content that adds value to their work. With this new format we believe Accountancy Age in print serves that need and provides a more complementary product to our website, AccountancyAge.com."
Accountancy Age has a controlled circulation of 46,728 UK financial professionals, 31,380 of whom receive a print copy and 15,348 a digital edition.
The publication was founded in 1969 and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
