ALM's Real Estate Media announces RealShare GREEN BUILDINGS networking event to be held June 3
- 20 Mar 2008NEW YORK (March 19, 2008) – ALM's Real Estate Media Division, a leader in news and information for the commercial real estate industry, today announced its first national networking conference for the commercial real estate green building movement: “ RealShare GREEN BUILDINGS: Making a Profit While Making a Difference.” To be held June 3 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C., RealShare GREEN BUILDINGS is designed for office, multifamily, retail, industrial and hotel real estate executives interested in capitalizing on opportunities related to greening a new asset, an existing building or a portfolio, as well as green service providers.
Produced in conjunction with association sponsors Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International and the U.S. Green Buildings Council, the day-long event will gather leading owners, investors, developers, architects, lenders and brokers to gauge the green real estate climate and its impact on the investment, finance and capital markets, development and leasing of commercial property.
“Green building and sustainable development already have a significant impact on the way commercial properties are designed, built, marketed and managed," said Michael Desiato, senior vice president, Real Estate Media Division. “We believe the information shared at this specially targeted conference, as well as REM's expanded magazine and online editorial content, will provide multiple opportunities for industry participants to spotlight their contributions to sustainable development.”
More than 500 of industry leaders are expected to attend RealShare GREEN BUILDINGS. Real Estate Media is committed to the green movement across all of its conference, print and online properties. For details on this initiative, Green Outlook, go to www.globest.com/green.
