Online Finance Award 2005 Winners Announced
Selestia and Interactive Investor
each scooped two categories, while Friends Provident received
the award nominated by advisers at last night’s Incisive
Media Online Finance Awards, hosted at Vinopolis on London’s
Southbank.
Other category winners included Assureweb, BM Solutions, FundsNetwork,
MoneyExtra, Prudential, Squaregain and Standard Life.
The Incisive Media Online Finance Awards are now in their sixth
year and are designed to reward the progress financial groups
bring to technology and information development and champion
standards of excellence set by the online financial services
industry.
Picking this year’s winners was challenging,
with the panel of judges noting the high standard of entries
and improvements
and advances made over the past year.
Winners were awarded according to a range of criteria including:
- Overall use of technology, functionality and site tools
- Support and service levels on offer to users
- Comprehensiveness of any product range featured on the site
- Levels of security
- Innovation in both design and functionality
- Ease of use for intended users
- Appropriateness of site for target market
- Commercial growth and development
of the site over the previous 12 months
