Incisive Media's insurance division editorial team shone in several categories at this year's BIBA Journalist of the Year Awards.
Insurance Age editor Emmanuel Kenning (pictured) came away with two awards. He scooped the Trade News Award and the Online Award at the lunchtime event held at the London HQ of broker Marsh.
Two other Incisive Media journalists from Post were highly commended at the event, Amy Ellis in the Trade Feature category and Leigh Jackson in the Online Award.
Incisive Media insurance division editor-in-chief Jonathan Swift said: “It is very pleasing to see that Incisive Media came first and second in the online category as this is an increasingly important platform for the division.
“Leigh was acclaimed for ‘single-handedly dragging the insurance sector into Twitter land’, while Emmanuel with his 12 part video series on broker networks, was a worthy winner for the time and effort he put into the project.
“It was great to see Amy pick up her award for her feature and the fact so many Incisive Media journalists were shortlisted bodes very well for the future.”
Post’s Stephanie Denton, Callum Brodie and Chinwe Akomah were also shortlisted in one, one and two categories respectively.
Amy was shortlisted in a further two categories and Emmanuel one.
