BusinessGreen Editorial team scoops AOP Award

The BusinessGreen editorial team won the ‘Editorial Team of the Year – Business’ Award at the 2012 AOP Awards.

The team beat off stiff competition to take the accolade in a category including Guardian Professional Networks, Property Week and Farmers Guardian at the ceremony at Camden’s Roundhouse.

The judges commented that BusinessGreen represented a "good old fashioned B2B editorial success story. Small team getting great results by building influence and securing exclusives. In a challenging sector, delivered real value back to the business".

Incisive Media chief executive Tim Weller also added his congratulations: "I am delighted that BusinessGreen was a big winner in the AOP awards, scooping the best Editorial Team. This is a richly deserved award for James Murray and his team of Jessica Shankleman and Will Nichols".

Other successes for Incisive Media at this year’s awards include shortlists for V3.co.uk and the Inquirer editor Madeline Bennett, the only B2B journalist to be shortlisted in the Digital Editorial Individual category, and Risk.net in the Business Website of the Year.
