Accountancy Age and Professional Pensions win top accolades.
Professional Pensions correspondent Jack Jones was awarded Trade Journalist of the Year at the Society of Pension Consultants’ annual dinner last Wednesday. He received the accolade from SPC president Roger Mattingly and shadow pensions minister Gregg McClymont.
Professional Pensions editor Jonathan Stapleton said: "This is a thoroughly deserved award for Jack who, along with the rest of the Professional Pensions team, has put in a phenomenal amount of effort over the past 12 months. We are looking forward to building on this success over the coming weeks and months."
The next day Accountancy Age Jobs scooped the Best Trade Publication at the National On-line Recruitment Awards. Sales director Sacha Cunningham said the award will give his team a huge lift: "The competition was pretty tough in the shape of Drapers Jobs, Management Today Jobs, TES Jobs and Nursing Times Jobs but AAJ delivered. A big well done to the team. I'm confident that being an award winner will boost the sales story as we move into 2013".

Professional Pensions reporter Hannah Brenton has won the 2012 Award for Best Newcomer at the prestigious State Street Institutional Press Awards.
Jonathan Stapleton said: "The award is testament to the progress Hannah has made over the past 12 months and the result of the efforts she has put in on a number of excellent news, analysis and feature pieces for Professional Pensions over the last year.
"This is also a particular achievement for PP as it is an award with incredibly tough judging. We have now won awards there two years running with Jenna Towler being named News Journalist of the Year in 2011".
