Nicky is a Subscription Sales Manager

Please sum up your role in a few sentences.
My team sell subscriptions globally to our financial risk management, Trading Technology and Insurance titles we offer information solutions to allow top level executives to stay abreast of the markets and perform their jobs more efficiently. . The subscriptions that we sell are all aimed at the financial services markets and the leading business professionals that operate therein. I have a team of 10 people that sell across our portfolio of subscription based products, we work in conjunction with the central marketing team to source new business acquisitions to ensure that are market leading brands continue to grow their respective readerships. These can be individual subscriptions or more frequently web based solutions.

What has been a professional highlight to you since working at Incisive Media?
Moving to Hong Kong last year to manage a team in the APAC region, it was an incredibly enjoyable time and was a real learning curve for me as an individual. It was always a personal ambition of mine and one of the reasons that I initially joined Incisive Media was due to the fact that this was always a possibility.

What element of your job do you enjoy the most?
I love seeing people join the business and being successful and creating a career for themselves. The training that we provide is excellent for new starters and they really do learn a lot very quickly. I also love the fact that a lot of things are changing in our division and in publishing generally and this is a fantastically exciting time to be working in this area despite the fact that the financial markets that we serve are volatile to say the least!

What has been your favourite moment at Incisive Media so far?
At our summer party I was able to put a custard pie in the face of Chris Coe, after he lost a bet. Anyone that knows Chris will appreciate this.

What word would you use to describe working at Incisive Media?
Enjoyable.
