I joined Incisive Media in June 2005, initially working for Risk, and took over as Editor of Operational Risk & Regulation a few months ago. I'm responsible for all the news and feature writing that appear in the magazine - some of it is commissioned from freelancers, some is contributed by outside experts, and the rest we write ourselves. What has been a professional highlight to you since working at Incisive Media?
Deciding which subjects we should cover and how we should cover them is a big part of my job - it also includes writing articles myself, proofreading and editing other people's work, and seeing the whole magazine through to printing every month.

What element of your job do you enjoy the most?
My new job has involved a lot more than writing - probably my favourite element is working with the events team to produce our conferences and online seminars here and abroad.

What has been your favourite moment at Incisive Media so far?
My time at Incisive Media spanned the onset of the financial crisis, and writing for Risk meant being at the heart of the collapse - which was fascinating. Even before October 2008 brought the problems in structured finance to everyone's attention, watching the acceleration catastrophe as it happened was a tremendously exciting experience. And Risk was also close to the eurozone debt crisis; helping to produce our exclusive coverage of the way the Greek government had concealed its true debts from everyone else was a high point, probably my favourite moment at IM so far.

What word would you use to describe working at Incisive Media?
The best word that I can think of to describe working here is probably "commitment".
