November 3, 2015

The 21st annual Risk USA Conference in New York attracted more than 400 senior risk management and derivatives trading professionals from leading financial institutions across the globe.

Risk’s flagship conference addressed the latest regulatory challenges, examined recent developments in key markets and provided an overview of best practice in financial risk management for investment banks and other capital markets participants.

The main two days of the conference included four streams with more than 50 sessions covering key areas including Swap Execution Facilities (SEFs) and clearing; recovery and resolutions; market finance; liquidity and stress testing; risk culture; repo market developments; and managing investment risk.

The largest financial risk management event in North America provided delegates with opportunities to learn, debate, discuss new ideas and grow their professional network. An additional two days of workshops offered more in-depth training on topics ranging from XVA, to operational risk frameworks, model risk, and collateral risk management.

Keynote speakers covered a wide range of topics, including Tim Massad, Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, who provided an insightful presentation discussing the ongoing work and challenges around derivatives reform.
