Professor Michael J. Oliver is an associate of Lombard Street Research and Professor of Economics at ESC Rennes School of Business in France.
His academic experience as an economic historian is combined with a practical application of monetary economics to offer executive education, workshops and a broad range of consultancy for high-profile corporations which have included Euronext, Credit Luxembourg, PHH Corporation, Avis and the States of Jersey. He is a prolific author and two of his recent books, are The Liquidity Theory of Asset Prices (written with Gordon Pepper and published by Wiley Finance in 2006) and Economic Disasters of the Twentieth Century (published by Edward Elgar in 2007).

Dilek Capanoglu joined the Emerging Markets team of RCM as Portfolio Manager in 2007. From 2005 until 2006 she served as Director of Global Business Development at Collingham Capital Management, a London-based hedge fund. Dilek holds a BA in European Business Administration from ESB Reutlingen in Germany, and a postgraduate diploma in International Finance from the Royal Holloway College, UK.

Khiem is responsible for the management of a number of specific Asian portfolios, and all Multi-Asset portfolios for clients located in Asia. He was appointed to become a member of the Strategic Policy Group, the company's global macro research and asset allocation team in 2006. Khiem was the Head of the Asia Pacific Specialist Investment Team from 1997 through 2006. He has been a co-manager of the Baring China Absolute Return (long-short hedge fund) since July 2004. Khiem joined Baring Asset Management in 1996 from Citicorp Global Asset Management in Sydney, where he was the Australian Chief Investment Officer, the chair of the Australian Asset Allocation Committee, and a member of the CGAM International Asset Allocation Committee. Khiem's prior experience includes seven years at Bankers Trust Australia and seven years at Equitilink Australia Ltd. Khiem received his B.A. in Economics (Hons.) from Macquarie University (Australia). He was designated an Associate Member of the Securities Institute of Australia (the Australian CFA equivalent) in 1979. Khiem is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and French.

Richard Urwin, Managing Director, is a lead portfolio manager and is head of the Asset Allocation and Economics Research team (AA&E) within BlackRock's Multi-Asset Portfolio Strategies (MAPS) group, which is responsible for developing, assembling and managing investment solutions involving multiple strategies and asset classes. Mr. Urwin is lead portfolio manager for the Global Tactical Asset Allocation Strategies in MAPS. He is also co-manager of the Global Macro Hedge Fund alongside Colin Graham and a member of the MAPS management team.
Mr. Urwin's service with the firm dates back to 2006, including his time with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. At MLIM, Mr. Urwin was head of the AA&E team. Prior to joining MLIM, he was the head of Strategic Research at Gartmore.
Mr. Urwin earned a BA degree, with first class honours, in Economics from Sheffield University in 1981, an MA degree in Economics from Warwick University in 1982 and an MBA degree, with distinction, in Finance from City University in 1990.

Reyer Kooy is a Director of Credit Suisse's Alternative Investments business, based in London. Mr Kooy is a product specialist for Credit Suisse's 'alternative beta' products and in particular for the Credit Suisse Tremont index range of offerings. He is responsible for new business development in this area across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
With over ten years of banking experience, Reyer Kooy joined Credit Suisse in 2007 from JP Morgan Asset Management where he worked in fund sales and relationship management roles.
Mr Kooy holds a business degree having studied at Aston University in the UK and the University of Limburg in the Netherlands. He is authorised by the UK's Financials Services Authority (FSA)

Rolf Banz joined Pictet & Cie in 1996 and is Chief Investment Architect and Head of Product and Risk Management at Pictet Asset Management.
He has taught at several business schools in Europe and in the USA. He is renowned for first identifying the "Small Cap Effect". Rolf subsequently founded and sold to Alliance Capital an investment management firm in London which specialised in small cap strategies for institutional investors. He subsequently became responsible for Alliance's London office.
Rolf graduated from the ETH (Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich with a degree in engineering. He later received an MBA from INSEAD and a PhD in Economics and Finance from the University of Chicago.

As Managing Director, Portfolio Management Property Securities, Simon directs the global real estate investment trust activity for Principal Real Estate Investors, the dedicated real estate group of Principal Global Investors. Simon has over 27 years of property experience, including eight years in the United Kingdom followed by 17 years in Australia. This includes positions both as an analyst and as a portfolio manager. He joined Principal Global Investors in 2003. Previously, Simon worked for Domaine Property Funds, managing the assets of its property syndicates. Prior to this, he was a senior equities analyst at Prudential Bache/BNP Equities. His background also includes positions as fund manager for Paladin Commercial Trust and GEM Commercial Property Trust, as well as a variety of real estate related roles with Prudential Assurance Company in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Simon received an MBA from the University of New England and is an associate member of both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and of the Australian Property Institute. He is a U.K. qualified chartered surveyor (ARICS).

Previously, Arild spent nearly four years with the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA) as an energy portfolio manager and two years as an oil and gas analyst with Hanifen, Imhoff, Inc. He received an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado and a bachelor's degree in management sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (England).
