Citi Adopts NYSE Services

In a partnership, Citi will implement NYSE Technologies' managed market data administration service.

The partnership will allow Citi to embark on what it calls a "wide-ranging market data compliance and cost savings strategy."

The product suite is built on DART technologies, in collaboration with technology consulting firm Jordan & Jordan. Citi is NYSE Technologies' first customer for its market data administration service, which includes direct reporting of entitlements to exchanges, exchange compliance and the elimination of multiple user exchange fees across vendor platforms.

"This service allows us to enhance our data compliance, reduce our administration costs and better control our exchange fees," says Don Madura, global head of real-time market data at Citi. "It is part of our strategy of faithful reporting and paying only for what we use."

Jose Luis Coirolo, managing director of global market data at NYSE Technologies, a division of NYSE Euronext, adds: "To have a global financial leader such as Citi select NYSE Technologies' managed service is a tremendous validation of DART's value and utility in today's data-intensive environment."
