Incisive Media offers the world's most exciting range of media jobs. Growing daily, Incisive has expanded from 13 employees to more than 750 award-winning, enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate people since 1994.
Jonathon Whiteley joined Incisive Media in July 1998 and is responsible for the Asia Pacific region where he is Managing Director.
The Asia Pacific operations are headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and Singapore and employs more than 100 people across the region.
Jonathon began his B2B media career in capital markets publishing and moved to the Financial Times group in 1996. He joined Incisive Media in 1998 to work on a series of successful launches and acquisitions, culminating in a role as publishing director of the insurance division.
During 2004, following its acquisition by Incisive Media, he assumed the role of managing director of Initiative Europe, the leading provider of online intelligence to the private equity community in Europe. Subsequently he managed the acquisition and integration of the Asian Venture Capital Group (AVCJ) in 2006 to create Incisive Media's Alternative Assets division.
Jonathon relocated to Hong Kong in 2008 to assume his current role.
In 2011 Jonathon was appointed a director on the Executive Board of the Society of Publishers Asia (SOPA) the organisation representing professional and business media across the Asia Pacific region.
