Incisive Media is committed not only to developing it's own employees, it also partakes in the Catch 22 charity, which is focused on the development and support of young people and others who find themselves in semmingly impossible situations.

Catch 22 offer services to young people to help them develop the confidence and skills to find solutions that are right for them. Incisive Media is involved in the Catch 22 Academy, which provides the opportunity to a young person interested in journalsim to obtain work experience within the business.

"We've had several Catch 22 graduates spend time with British Journal of Photography over the past year, and it's been a great experience - both for us, but also for these aspiring journalists. On BJP, they were given the opportunity to write from day one, with their articles published online and even inside the print publication. Suffice to say, we were clearly impressed by the quality of their writing, which proved hugely beneficial for a busy news desk such as ours. Coming from a variety of different backgrounds, they also brought valuable points of view to the publication. I, for one, can't wait for our next Catch 22 graduate."

Incisive Media recently hosted a special event for disadvantaged students as part of the SKILL! programme of interactive enterprise. Tne objective was to test the students' communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. More details of this workshop can be found on the news page.
