Incisive Media has an opening for an Business Development Manager to join Investment Europe. This is an exciting role within a dynamic team with excellent opportunities for quick progression. The role will focus on developing Investment Europe’s relationships to sell sponsorship across our events and awards portfolio. There is key emphasis on consultative selling, relationship management and negotiation.

What you will be doing      

This is an important business development and key account management role selling sponsorship packages to the world’s leading financial asset management groups . This role will report to the Head of Sales and as such will have responsibility for a defined list of key clients – growing revenues and also developing new business. The job will involve a mixture of field and telephone-based sales; you will also have the opportunity to attend relevant events in major European cities and represent the brand at key industry events. Frequent travel can be expected.

  • Maximise your own sales efforts through telephone, social media and visiting clients across Europe.
  • Build strong relationships and increase revenue – to meet and exceed sales targets – from a defined list of key accounts that you have been assigned.
  • Acquire and develop new business outside the assigned key account list – in conjunction with the Head of Sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service / account management to our client community.
  • Accurate reporting of all sales efforts; including sales pipeline activity to the Head of Sales.

 What we value    

  • 3-5 years media/events sales experience
  • Background in finance/capital markets is not essential but would be highly regarded
