What you will be doing
We are looking for an Event Sales Account Manager with a good track record of account management and business sales to work on the industry leading and award winning Investment Week brand. This position is a customer facing role and offers a consultative sales approach. There will also be the opportunity to get creative as we continuously look for ways to enhance our client offerings with new event, product and sponsorship ideas.
Your role will focus on developing Investment Week’s relationships to sell sponsorship across our events and awards portfolio. With over 40 Investment Week events and two major awards, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing equally to the target. You will need to be proactive, efficient, organised and interested in people. There is a key emphasis on consultative selling, relationship management and negotiation.
The Asset Management Industry is an evolving landscape, as such, you will need to have a good understanding of the market and be able to keep well informed with industry changes, competitors and have a strong awareness of your own brand’s performance within the market space.
