PA senior reporter Ellis was recognised as the UK’s leading platform journalist at the Schroders UK Platform Awards on September 25. And IW senior reporter Rana made it the double a day later, scooping the best trade journalist award at the Association of Investment Companies Media Awards on September 26. This is the third year in a row that she has received this accolade.
Ellis was recognised for “penning informed, interesting and newsworthy articles on the platform sector during 2017/18”. And Rana was cited for her ability to “be the first to cover a story, combining speed and accuracy with an easy-to-read style. Over the past year, this has produced particularly illuminating coverage of technical subjects such as KIDs, as well as some entertaining interviews”.

These awards follow hot on the heels of fellow Incisive journalist Madeleine Cuff’s success for Business Green at the Specialist Media Awards on September 17.
