Simone Broadhurst, Incisive’s managing director of events, said “I’m delighted that City to Sea has come on board as a not-for-profit partner, we are committed to limiting the impact our events have on the environment and we are keen to give organisations like City to Sea a platform to gain exposure and educate our audiences on environmental issues.”
City to Sea is an award-winning not-for-profit environmental organisation campaigning to stop plastic pollution – from city to sea. City To Sea started life in 2014, when founder Natalie Fee first saw the images of albatross chicks dying as a result of ingesting plastic. The organisation now runs behaviour-change campaigns geared towards the safeguarding of marine life against plastic pollution, working with individuals and industries to reverse the trend of disposable items.
Fee will be speaking about the organisation’s progress at this year’s Fund Manager of the Year Awards, an annual celebration of the outstanding achievements of fund managers who are making waves in the industry and shaping the future of investment.
This year will mark the 24th Fund Manager of the Year Awards, which will be held on Thursday, June 27 at the Grosvenor House in London. For more information go to www.fmya.com.
