Incisive Media marks Pride month with renewed focus on diversity and inclusion

Incisive Media has renewed its focus on diversity and inclusion to mark Pride month and to support the markets that it serves to do more about D&I.

The events of 2020 have been a time of reflection and this year marks the start of a more focused and considered approach to diversity and inclusion for the leading B2B media company.

Incisive Media has always taken great pride in its diverse and inclusive culture. As a business it continues to recruit, develop and retain the most talented people regardless of their social background, age, sex, ethnicity, religion/belief or disability.

Incisive firmly believes that, by encouraging people to be themselves, they will be the best version they can be and in turn will be happier, more productive and engaged employees.

True to its reputation for taking decisive action, the business has formed a new staff diversity and inclusion taskforce to lead these efforts and identify areas for improvement or where it can support initiatives in its core markets to truly live up to the business’s  ‘All Souls Welcome’ ethos.

“While it is always great to see so many companies flying the rainbow flag in June as we do, we want to ensure that Pride remains a bigger part of our agenda after the month is over. This is why I am delighted and passionate to be running our new D&I taskforce,” said HR manager Maria Margariti. “As a London-based business, we hope to be able to celebrate Pride fully in September, with more staff back in the office and in the hope that the Pride in London march will take place.”

Incisive is continually looking for opportunities to support equality and inclusion within the industries it serves and the business has a longstanding partnership with LGBT Great.

This year the company’s flagship brand Investment Week will be supporting LGBT Great’s Global Top 100 Executive Allies & Awards for the first time. The event will showcase a number of Project 1000 Role Models who will share their personal journey within the investment industry and how their organisation is working to fully support its LGBTQ+ talent.

Incisive Media has transformed its distinctive frog logo into rainbow colours since June 2018 to demonstrate the company’s commitment to LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion, and this year it will do the same. The rainbow Incisive logo will go live from 14 June until the end of the month, as will the company’s social media output, to reflect the business’s ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.
