Sustainable Investment Festival marks Incisive Media’s most ambitious digital event launch

Incisive Media has staged its biggest digital event with the launch of the annual Sustainable Investment Festival.

The four-day show, marking the rapid rise of sustainable investing, was filmed at London’s Protein Studios and hosted by financial journalist and broadcaster Declan Curry, alongside the editors of Investment Week, Professional Pensions, Professional Adviser and International Investment. It took place from June 22-25.

The show featured contributions from more than 90 political and industry luminaries, including pensions minister Guy Opperman, JP Morgan’s ESG chief and former MP Chuka Umunna, Schroders CEO Peter Harrison, and ShareAction CEO Catherine Howarth.

More than 1000 professionals from across the audiences of the four Incisive Media brands tuned in to the show and actively participated. Between them they created more than 2000 messages and discussions, a record level of engagement for Incisive.

“This was a superb event, well hosted and superbly delivered,” said Jody Downes, business development director at Mattioli Woods. “The content was amazing and thought provoking. I would definitely recommend it.”

The event was extensively covered across the four titles, with a live blog, news stories and analysis, video interviews, reportage and behind-the-scenes coverage, as well as updates on social media platforms.

Nearly 40 partner groups supported the event across the four days, demonstrating the strong demand for this kind of product across Incisive’s investment brands.

Kevin Sinclair, managing director of Incisive Media’s finance division, who spearheaded the launch, said: “The success of the launch of the Sustainable Investment Festival was phenomenal. The topic and our premium, studio-based approach captured the imagination of audiences and commercial partners alike. But that success was no fluke. A huge amount of thought and planning went into making it a massive hit and one of Incisive Media’s best-ever event launches.”
